Super cheap multitasking beauty find

This product is one that I will never again be without. 100% cocoa butter sticks are great because they are one ingredient, cost less than two dollars, and are multi-functional with noticeable results. I've seen them in every type drugstore, too! It makes a great lip balm. After cleansing and toning, I warm it up and gently apply it on my face, I even pat it under my eyes and apply onto my eyelashes. I use it almost like a serum would be used, prior to my moisturizer. It absorbs into my skin and I've notice the health of my skin improve even further, even helping to heal any blemishes I may have.

In-shower beauty tips

There are a few simple, effective additions to your shower routine that can really make a difference. I do these everyday and have noticed a difference. :)

1). Shampoo first, squeeze out the excess water with your towel and apply conditioner. Let the conditioner sit while you finish the rest of your shower. My hair has really become softer because of this. I also like to clip it out of the way with the conditioner.

2). Cleanse your face after you applied conditioner. The steam from the shower gives a little mini facial steam and helps clear the pores. I've been doing this for many years, and my face always feels extra clean.

3). Use a loofah to gently exfoliate. Apply a little extra pressure on the legs prior to shaving for a smoother shave. I have very-dry skin, but this tip actually improves my skin. It keeps it from peeling and the slight exfoliation allows the razor to achieve a closer shave. The moisturizing body wash also serves well as a base prior to shaving cream. I also let the body wash sit on my skin while shaving, and I find that it helps moisturize. (I'm a big fan of Dove and Olay body washes, they are a dry skin girl's best friend).

4). Since I have dry skin, I can get away with using an oil on my skin in the shower. Although, there is controversy regarding mineral oil on the skin. Sometimes I switch up Baby Oil for grape seed oil, or even coconut or olive oil. Applying it to damp skin and towel drying keeps it from being overly greasy. (I also find, in general, if I apply a regular lotion over any type of oil, it reduces the greasy feeling and absorbs better).

5). Again, I have quite dry skin, so I need all the help I can get. When drying off, dabbing and patting is a better option. I also notice that it is more gentle for my skin to use a micro-fiber towel. Its more gentle on the hair/skin and does the job quicker. They are often really cheap at Target, too. :)

Those are my little tips that I have done for years and have made a difference for me. If you try them, I hope they work for you as well! :)
